On November 14 and 15, the Young Academy of Slovenia, the association of Slovenian doctoral candidates and early career researchers, along with the Slovenian RDA Node (coordinated by the Slovenian Social Science Data Archive), the NI4OS project (the University Library Maribor and the Academic Research Network of Slovenia), the University of Maribor and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, organized the Open Research Data Conference in Slovenia and Workshop for Researchers at the University of Maribor.
The conference approached topics such as the coordination of infrastructural services that support research data management, implementation of the principles of the National Strategy of Open Access to Scientific Publications and Research Data in Slovenia, and an overview of current levels of access to research data in individual research fields.

This event received a grant from the FIT4RRI project within its call for training events on Responsible Research and Innovation and Open Science, and more than 80 people, mostly researchers but also librarians and other information professionals were registered.
